In 1871 they were still at Fort Charlotte.

Passed away at Matamata Country Lodge surrounded by family on Wednesday 14 June 2017. Aged 94. Beloved wife of the late Graham. Adored mother and mother in law of John and Claire, Brian and Robyn, Peter and Marie and Gillian. Much loved Grandmother of Daniel and Sarah, Kirsty, Duane and Bridgette, Tanya and Geoffrey, Tim and Beth. Great Grandmother to Caitlyn, Mathis, Alex, Abigail and Eleanor. Special thanks to Matamata Country Lodge Staff for their loving care of Dorothy. "She was an inspiration to us all and will be forever in our hearts". A service to celebrate the life of Dorothy will be held in All Saints Anglican Church, Hohaia Street, Matamata. Monday, the 19th of June, at 1pm.
