• Notes

  It appears that Frances married Joseph Kerr in 1930 and at some point between 1930 and 1944, separated. There appears not to have been any divorce documentation, while Joseph gave his estate away to another woman, Mary Barr Brown at his death. Frances sued the estate of the ex husband, but then withdrew the claim. There is documentation available at Archives Auckland for R24651336, covering the above. It is partially covered in the Probate of Joseph. The probate for Frances Ellen Sutton on Archives, is not the same person, despite the same death year.
