During 1930, Violet married James Alexander Christie and from that union came 2 children with a possible third one (requires investigation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James appears to have worked for modern day Corrections and was resident along with Violet at “Borstal Farm” near Invercargill. Borstals were institutions where young (male) offenders were sent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

James passed away in 1975.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Violet passed away on the 29 March 1998\u00a0at\u00a0Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand, aged 100 years and is buried alongside her husband in Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill, New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n
