He attended various schools around the district including Waimumu School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert married Gertrude Fisken on the 25 Feb 1929&nbsp;at&nbsp;Gore, Southland, New Zealand. Sadly, Gertrude passed away on the 27 Jul 1968, aged 66, and is buried at Gore Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were no children from the union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Death<\/strong>&nbsp;04 Nov 1997&nbsp;\u2022&nbsp;Gore, Southland, New Zealand and is buried along side his wife at Gore Cemetery.
