Was born on the 19 November 1916\u00a0at\u00a0Gisborne, Gisborne, New Zealand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seen as fireman based in Whanganui initially, at the central fire station<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Married Joyce McAlister in 1940 at Palmerston North.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were 2 children from the union, and with 1 of them remaining alive, we will not include any details here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple moved to both Linton and Waiouru between 1963 and 1971, where Lawrence was a soldier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple retired to Palmerston North at Kelvin Grove. Joyce passed away in 1986 and is buried at Kelvin Grove Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawrence passed away on the 4 June 1997\u00a0at\u00a0Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand and is buried alongside his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n
