Stan joined the war effort and was a Motor Mechanic and Corporal. His number was WWII 15687.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the war, he carried on his career as Mechanic at Palmerston and Dunedin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He married Evelyn Peters in 1947 and from that union arose 4 children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stan passed away on the 1 April 1990 at Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. He was cremated and his ashes interred at Andersons Bay Cemetery in Dunedin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
