As far as I know, and the family corroborates, Cyril was adopted, hence no birth record has been found.
Cyril lived in Dunedin and in 1921, married Alice Armitage. He held down various occupations from Painter to Manager. Alice passed in 1957 and Cyril in 1971. They are both buried at Andersons Bay Cemetery in Dunedin.
