William “Bill” Horace Stark was born on the 6 December 1912 at Gore, Southland, New Zealand.
He was gazzetted in 1942 as active soldier 512864. Not sure he made it overseas though.

At some point before 1971, Bill married Ivy Ann Freakley (as mentioned in the snippet below). Ann passed away in 1995 and is buried with a different husband.
