Born on the 19 Aug 1916 at Gore, Southland, New Zealand. Albert attended Croydon Siding school in his youth.
In 1946, Albert married Olive Gardiner and from that union stemmed 4 children.
Albert passed away on the 29 Apr 1999 at Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand and is remembered at the Canterbury Memorial Gardens along with his wife, Olive, who passed away in 2019.
