Was born in Otago, New Zealand on the 29 Sep 1856.
There is little on his young life in any archive, but sadly, he passed away on the 6 October 1883. He was subsequently buried in the Otepopo Cemetery on the 8 October 1883. He would be joined by his brother William in another 3 years time.
