Was born on the 16 August 1923 at Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. In her youth, she attended Christchurch West School from 1928.
In 1945, Amelia married William Suttie at Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. From that union arose 3 children, all of them living at time of writing.
Bill and Amelia lived their entire lives in Christchurch and mostly at Tinokore Street in Hornby.
Bill passed away in 1998 and is buried in Halswell at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery.
Amelia passed 15 years later on the 11 October 2013 at Halswell, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. She is buried alongside her husband.
