Angus was born at ‘Chalgrove’ on the 19 May 1908. For a large chunk of his life, Angus was a Storeman and Labourer. He married Elsie Lavinia Saunders-Loder at Christchurch. The couple then moved to Willowby and Hinds area around Ashburton. Angus’ older sister Ev was married in living at the same district at the same time.
At some point, Angus started to become very unwell and throughout his life, he was debilitated by Multiple Sclerosis. Towards the end of his life, he needed to use a wheelchair to get around.
