Janet is the last born child of James and Grace, born at ‘Chalgrove’ on the 20 Mar 1875.
She married James Tennant Hyslop on 27 December 1898 at Waianakarua, North Otago and they had 4 children together.
Janet died in Wellington 13th January 1953 and was cremated. Her husband was cremated also in Wellington 3 years later in 1956.
The following photo is of James with possibly a grandchild or great grandchild.
It is worth noting that two of the ROBERTSON children married 2 HYSLOP children (James married Esther HYSLOP and Janet married James T HYSLOP, which goes some way to describe the nature of the people and their relationships. Multiple siblings marrying other siblings was not unusual.
