Janet was born on the 5 Oct 1917 at Mataura, Southland, New Zealand and was the second youngest child of the family. She attended Croydon Siding School in 1923
Janet married John “Jack” Brian Breen on the 20 Jun 1938 at Gore, Southland, New Zealand. From that union stemmed 4 children.
Jack passed away in 1990, while Janet passed on the 30 May 2005 at Timaru, South Canterbury, New Zealand
She is buried at Timaru Cemetery alongide her husband
