Robert was born on the 07 Oct 1901 at Hedgehope, Southland, New Zealand. He attended various schools around the district including Waimumu School.
Robert married Gertrude Fisken on the 25 Feb 1929 at Gore, Southland, New Zealand. Sadly, Gertrude passed away on the 27 Jul 1968, aged 66, and is buried at Gore Cemetery.
There were no children from the union.
Death 04 Nov 1997 • Gore, Southland, New Zealand and is buried along side his wife at Gore Cemetery. He was 96 years old.
