Evelyn came into this world on the 11 Sep 1910 at Gore, Southland, New Zealand.
She would have been 12 or so when her mother passed away. She attended East Gore (Gordon) School and potentially Dunrobin School (Near Alexandra).
In 12 Apr 1933, Evelyn married George Phillip Gutschlag at Wairuna, Clinton, Southland, New Zealand
There were 9 children from the union and 4 are still with us.
Sadly, George passed away in 1956 which left Evelyn with a number of small children to maintain.
Evelyn passed away on the 12 May 1989 at Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand. She and her husband George, are buried at Gore Cemetery, Southland, New Zealand.
