Vera was born 28 May 1912 at Balfour, Southland, New Zealand. She was the youngest of Roberts children.
She married Henry “Harry” Crawford in 1932. From the union of Harry and Vera arrived 6 children. Sadly, one has passed, namely Ted. He died in 2006 and is buried in Richmond, Nelson, New Zealand.

Sadly, Vera passed at rather young age on the 22 Jul 1969 at Porirua, Wellington, New Zealand.
