Born on the 29 April 1912 at Gisborne, East Cape, New Zealand
Worked as Fireman initially.
Married Mary Matthews in 1938. There may have children from the union, but I have not identified them yet. Norman joined the war effort as a Private in the New Zealand Ordnance Corp. His war number was WWII 40964.
Norman’s occupation was mainly as fireman in Whanganui and then the Hutt valley. After that he ran a small newsstand business in Levin.
Norman passed away on the 13 August 1970 at Levin, Horowhenua, Manawatu, New Zealand. He is buried in Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North.
Mary passed away in 1985 and is buried in Makara Cemetery in Wellington.
