Maisie was born on the 23 March 1908 at Blackball on the West Coast of New Zealand. In 1913 she attended Blackball School.
In 1935, Maisie married James Marinan and from that union, the following children arrived. Some of the family are extant, so we will not disclose those.

James passed away in 1966 and is buried in Karoro Cemetery in Greymouth.
Maisie married Francis Dudley who sadly passed away in 1973 and his remains were buried in Karoro Cemetery.
On the 30 September 2006, Maisie passed away at Christchurch. Her remains were interred in Karoro Cemetery, but according to Grey District Council records, these were interred with James Marinan, while her passing was noted on her second husband’s gravestone.
