Elizabeth was born at Christchurch on the 20 December 1874. She was the second child and second daughter.
She attended Christchurch Normal School, from 1885.
Elizabeth is present on the 1893 Electoral Roll alongside her mother.
Very little is known about her life. She never married and I have not found any children either. Earlier on, she lived next door to her parents, with one of her brothers also living at the same property – 117 Caledonian Road. She remained at that property until she passed away on the 10 April 1950. Her remains can be found in Linwood Cemetery
The parents lived at 119 Caledonian Road. At some point, the two properties were merged and the housing today spans both properties.
