Georgina “Jo” Chambers was born 27 May 1878 at Stafford, West Coast, New Zealand. Most of her life was enjoyed on the West Coast and in 1906 she married Henry Bruhn.
From that marriage, a daughter, Bertha Metta Bruhn, born 1907. Bertha married Henry Harpur at New Brighton and moved to the Waikato, passing away in 1982. There were no children from the marriage.
Jo was predeceased by her husband, Henry, who passed in 1937.
Jo passed in 1950 and is buried in the Karoro Cemetery in Greymouth alongside her husband.
