The youngest child born to Catherine and Victor is Arthur known as Art. He was born on the 22 December 1879 at Camerons, West Coast, New Zealand.
Similar to his brother Alf, Art was a miner his entire life. In the 1930’s, he was active around the Waimea area, seeking licenses to mine on several sites.
He never married and as far as I can ascertain, had no children either.
Art died on the 5 October 1957 in Greymouth is buried in the main cemetery in the city. He died intestate and the Public Trust executed probate. There was 250 pounds in his bank account.
