Was born on the 31 May 1919 at Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand (although the official record says Nightcaps).
Stan joined the war effort and was a Motor Mechanic and Corporal. His number was WWII 15687.
Following the war, he carried on his career as Mechanic at Palmerston and Dunedin.
He married Evelyn Peters in 1947 and from that union arose 4 children.
Stan passed away on the 1 April 1990 at Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. He was cremated and his ashes interred at Andersons Bay Cemetery in Dunedin.
His wife, Evelyn, passed away in 1993 and is buried in the same plot as Stan.
